ABOUT THE CLUB

Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a voluntary on campus intervention is being implemented in the higher Educational institutions. Aiming at preventing HIV as well as promoting voluntary blood donation among youth between the age of 17-25 yrs. RRC addresses the knowledge, attitude, and behaviour of youths in the interrelated areas of Voluntary Blood Donation, Health Awareness Camps, HIV awareness, etc.  The main motto of the RRC is Prevention is better than cure.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CLUB

  1. To reduce new HIV infection among Youth through awareness programs
  2. To persuade among Youth the spirit to help and support people living with HIV/AIDS
  3. To motivate Youth and build their capacity as peer educator and change agents by developing their skills on Leadership Negotiation.
  4. To Promote Voluntary blood Donation among youth.
